Casement Vinyl Windows

Casement windows or french casement windows are hinged at the sides.

Casement windows project outward, providing significantly better ventilation than sliders or equal size. Because the sash protrudes from the plane of the wall, it can be controlled to catch passing breezes, but screens must be placed on the interior side. Virtually the entire french casement window area can be opened, while sliders are limited to less than half of the window area.

Single Sliding Vinyl Windows

Only one sash slides in a single sliding window, also called horizontal windows. Ventilation area can vary from a small crack to on opening of one-half the total glass area. In horizontal window screens can be placed on the exterior of the horizontal windows unit.

Single Hung Vinyl Windows

(Vertical Sliders)

Only the bottom sash window slides upward in a single-hung window. Ventilation area can vary from a small crack to an opening of one-half the total glass area. Screens can be placed on the exterior of the window unit.

Double Hung Vinyl Windows

In double hung window units, both sashes slide vertically. Only the bottom sash slides upward in a single-hung window. Ventilation area can vary from a small crack to an opening of one-half the total glass area. Screens can be placed on the exterior of the window unit.

The bay window is made up of three or more windows and it is very similar to bow window. The side or flanker units project out from the building in 30, 45 or 90 degree angles. The center is parallel with the building wall and is made up of one or more windows. All the units in the bay windows can be stationary, operating or any combination thereof.

Awning Vinyl Windows

Our awning windows share the same performance advantages as our casement windows, but can be left partly open during inclement weather to provide continuous ventilation, while at the same time not letting in any of nature’s undesirable elements.
